Manheim Lions Club Spring Clean-up
Join us for our annual community clean-up event!
The Manheim Lions Club Spring Clean-up is an annual event that lets us give back to our community by providing a convenient way for residents to dispose of unwanted household items and clutter.
This event is for Manheim residents only!
We reserve the right to refuse any item(s). Item(s) will not be accepted after dumpsters are full.
Available Services
Dumpster Disposal
On-site dumpsters for large items, furniture, appliances, and general household clutter, provided by Red Box+ Opens in a new tab .
Shred-IT Service
Securely dispose of sensitive documents with an on-site shredding truck, provided by Shred-it Opens in a new tab .
Metal Disposal
Drop off metal items in a designated area for recycling.
Mattresses & Box Springs
Mattresses will be accepted with a limit of 1 per household.
Box springs are also accepted — if able please pre-break them down to save space in the dumpsters.
Not Accepted
- Commercial & Business Waste — This event is for Manheim residents only; no commercial or business waste will be accepted.
- Electronics — TVs, computers, monitors, and other electronic devices.
- Liquids — Paint, chemicals, and other liquid substances.
- Hazardous Materials — Asbestos, batteries, lead, and other hazardous materials.
- Appliances with Freon — Refrigerators, freezers, A/C units, and other appliances containing Freon.
- Flammable, Toxic, or Corrosive Materials — Gasoline, propane tanks, and other hazardous substances.
- Yard Waste — Grass clippings, leaves, branches, and other yard waste.
- Tires — All types of tires.
- Construction Debris — Concrete, bricks, wood, and other construction waste materials.
We encourage all Manheim residents to take advantage of this opportunity to declutter their homes and support our club's mission to serve the community. By participating in the Spring Clean-up, you are helping us keep our town clean and beautiful while also supporting our ongoing community service projects.
